A Prose Poem Reflecting on a Journey into Solitude

What does your soul sound like when the world falls away?

This piece explores the profound beauty of solitude,

where the universe whispers its secrets and grief slowly fades.

As twilight envelops me in its soft embrace, a shadow sways with grace. I wander alone where leaves whisper secrets to the ever-present traveller within my searching soul. And in that moment, the universe dissolves in a heavenly sigh as celestial bodies reveal their mysteries from the infinite skies.

 

I keep walking until every breath becomes a supplication and every thought weaves a connection, unravelling each stroke of dusk.

Beneath the layers of grief lay a desire to hide, but then I perceived a brilliant light emanating, rejuvenating my soul even as I remained awake with my eyes shut.

Absorbing the gentle rustling of leaves and the howling wind, I heard Nature's song. The rhythm resonates deeply, flowing into my being as if a spirit is reuniting with its physical form. 

As night falls, waiting for daylight to unfold, my soul is enchanted by the marvels before my eyes and begins to grasp the language of silence, a language that holds profound narratives.

In this silence, the essence of love is ultimately unveiled.

The shadows of grief slowly fade as the light gradually enters. Starlight reflects and dances in my eyes. My true self, the one I have yearned to meet, has discovered its voice and led me through every challenge.

The journey begins when the soul captivates the heart, truly harmonising with its echo. Here, in this serene setting, I engage in a dialogue with the universe to uncover its hidden secrets. 

As solitude is embraced, my heart begins to radiate. Alone, yet surrounded by the presence of the Divine.
